As a lover of creativity and improvisation, Scenario (they/them/theirs) became interested in hypnosis shows as a way to invite others into their playfulness and self expression. With over 17 years of entertainment experience working with people from all over the world Scenario has well honed skills connecting with people in a deep, authentic and meaningful way. Scenario is excited to bring hypnosis to the stage in an updated take on the classic show. A healer at heart, Scenario strives to create a safe and consensual space where people are invited to share their creative selves with the community so all can celebrate the joy of authentic self expression.
Shows can be crafted to fit your schedule. A typical show is 50-75 minutes.
After a short introduction about how hypnosis works and what to expect those who are excited to try it are invited onstage. Scenario will set everyone’s mind at ease and people are generally very eager to volunteer and experience the fun for themselves.
Yes, hypnosis is a natural mind state that we all experience regularly. It is simply the slowing down of brainwaves to reach the relaxed mind state we experience as we’re falling asleep, daydreaming, driving (highway hypnosis is real), or meditating. It is impossible to get “stuck” in hypnosis and it is a myth that a hypnotized subject can be controlled against their will. Scenario’s hypnosis shows emphasize consent and self acceptance and their shows are designed to be entertaining without being embarrassing. Volunteers will be excited to get onstage and have the MOST amount of fun!
Yes, Scenario is available to travel to your location, anywhere in the world! Shows are performed in English.
Hypnosis shows are great for everyone! From corporate clients to high school grad parties hypnosis shows will delight all ages. While children are welcome to enjoy the show from the audience, volunteers generally need to be high school age or older.
Hypnosis works best when the audience is mentally and emotionally prepared. It is NOT recommended to make the show a surprise.
Yes, Scenario carries a full insurance policy and can provide a certificate upon request.
Ideal audience size is 100 or more. A 12x24 ft performance area with 15-20 identical armless chairs and a quality sound system with a handheld cordless microphone. Smaller stages can be workable.
